Project Life is a national movement to increase the potential pool of bone marrow and tissue donors by testing and registering college students with a simple cheek swab.

The Team

David Lindsay

David Lindsay

Founder of Project Life Movement

David founded Project Life Movement after he was diagnosed with acute leukemia at 18 years old. He received a bone marrow transplant from his sister and has been in remission ever since. As a student at Davidson College, he and his classmates hosted the first drive in the spring semester of 1990. The rest is history! David enjoys being with his two children and traveling to bone marrow drive locations and sharing his story.

Ann Henegar

Ann Henegar

Director of Marketing & Communications

Ann is a graduate of NC State and the mother of three wonderful boys. She loves to cook, read and travel. She would rather be at the beach with her family than anywhere else. She is on the list because it is so easy to potentially be a lifesaver to someone. The other lives that she could affect because of a bone marrow match blows her away!

Dorian Edwards

Dorian Edwards

Campus Coordinator

Dorian is a graduate and former student athlete of Livingstone College. He was first introduced to Project Life in 2012 when he helped lead a campus drive which registered about 300 donors. He has served as an intern with Project Life and has now rejoined the team full-time. Dorian has a passion for helping people and is hoping to save as many lives as possible by encouraging others to sign up for the bone marrow registry.
